Amazon 2026 Prime Day scheduled for June 23-26

Zhongheyun Jun 04,2026

Recently, Amazon officially announced that the 2026 Prime Day event will run from June 23 to June 26, lasting four days. This major promotion will be launched in batches: 22 countries and regions including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and France will launch the event first in June; The major promotions for Australia, Brazil, India, and Japan have been postponed to a later date this summer.

1. Omnichannel Marketing Placement: Multi-channel traffic acquisition with offline landmark events

The platform is simultaneously supporting a comprehensive marketing campaign, promoting the brand through multiple channels such as TV, streaming media, online social media, and outdoor large screens, and launching landmark offline experience events in multiple locations to drive sales traffic across all regions.

2. New Regulations on Variant Comment Sharing: Comprehensive Implementation and Handling of Violations

As the promotional preparation period began, Amazon's previously released new variant review sharing rules were officially implemented across all sites and categories on May 31. This rule began a phased pilot at different stations starting February 12 this year, and after a transition period of more than three months, it came into full effect.

Key Compliance Points:

  • Shared comments: Only when there are differences in subtle parameters such as color, pattern, size, quantity per package, minor odor, or compatible models with the same accessory can variants share comments normally.
  • Must be split: If there are substantial differences in product power, material, formula, core functions, or category, the breakdown must be completed. After splitting, each sub-ASIN comment is accounted for independently and is no longer shared or interconnected.

High-frequency violations and handling measures:

After the rules are implemented, the platform will regularly conduct compliance inspections of product variants, with graded handling for the following four types of behaviors:

  1. Botlink comment grafting
  2. Cross-functional attribute bundle variants
  3. Multiple stores sharing links for illegal mergers
  4. Cross-category affiliation variants

Penalties include: forced splitting of variants, product delisting, restriction of sales rights, and freezing account funds.

3. Other supporting platform rules: FBA labeling, fuel surcharge, EUDR, Prime Day billing adjustments

In addition to the variant policy, multiple supporting platform rules for Amazon will be implemented in 2026:

  • End of March: New FBA product labeling regulations implemented; non-brand products must affix the X00-segment FNSKU barcode.

  • Europe and US sites: FBA fuel surcharge rates have been raised one after another.

  • June 30: The EU EUDR exemption period for micro and small enterprises expires.

  • This year's Prime Day promotional billing model: adjusted to a prepaid fee combined with sales commission mechanism, with the promotional price meeting requirements lower than the recent cycle benchmark price.

4. Seller Action Advice: Optimize the window period for stocking and listing

Currently, it is the Prime Day stocking and listing optimization window. The platform reminds sellers:

  • Sorting out the variant architecture of all stores

  • Improve product compliance documentation

  • Complete product chain rectification in accordance with current platform standards

  • Steadily advance the preparation work for major promotion stock
